Swiss Film History

I'm sure some of you have watched a James Bond film before. Maybe you weren't aware that some of the scenes in the film were actually famous Swiss landmarks. A bungee jumping fall from the Verzasca Dam in Tereno, Switzerland from the movie Golden Eye and the famous Jungfrau Scene on top of the world are just a few of the picks of these Swiss landmarks.

The man behind finding these wonderful landmarks is location scout Leonhard Gmur. He helps production teams find the best places for filming in Switzerland and other parts of the World such as Canada.

The Band of Brothers, which was directed by Spielberg and Starred Tom Hanks, was a Second World War television drama filmed on location of neutral Interlaken, Switzerland.
