My New Toy

This is my new toy.

I even got to ride it all the way home and test it out a little bit. After switching to a mountain bike for the last 20 or so years, it feels so different to be on a road bike!

These aren't photos of my bike, but it's pretty close to what it looks like.

  1. It will feel like flying. This is my airplane.

  2. My husband (who's got this carbon fiber road bike and is drooling over another lighter one) is obviously really into road bikes since he does races and stuff. But to me it's a fun way to get some exercise!

    So have fun!

  9. Enjoy thee new toy. You will be flying on it. I have a road bike, but most often I still take out the old mountain bike because the speed of the lighter bike makes me nervous.

    Hmmm, I ponder.

  13. So you finally bought one! Now you will have to bike out to Sidney and stop at The Roost on McTavish like all the other Sunday cyclers!
