Hi, back again. :) You asked how dad retired and we moved to Australia - mom was born there, her parents were from England and moved to Australia after the first world war.
ReplyDeleteSo mom and dad met in the Phillipines where they were both stationed after the second world war.
They married and dad took mom back to the States with him. When he retired from Strategic Air Command, they moved over to Australia for mom to be with her parents, and for dad to build a yacht.
Perfect for today's theme,,, When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.... Mine's up too.. Happy weekend!
