There's an area just above the city of Montreux which is so breath taking. I used to walk up to this lovely little park and sit on the empty park benches while enjoying the views of Lac Leman known to most as Lake Geneva. For me this is heaven and one of the joys of living in this region of Switzerland. There was beauty even on a rainy day but largely the views were just breath taking beyond belief. Usually I was alone when I visited here which was such a treat.
IF you were to turn to your right, you'd see empty vineyards too at this time of the year. Of course the leaves are just starting to grow on the vines soon.
