Well that strike is still happening in Vancouver!
Yes - see this link for a short blurb about the strike. The stinkin strike has affected every city around Vancouver because garbage doesn't get picked up regularly because the other transfer stations are over flowing with visitors.
Other bad things which happen are permits are slowed to a grounding 25% of normal besides day cares, rec centres and other essential services are non-existent.
What a long time it's been, some 10 wks almost now.
And we have sunshine today!
