Here in Victoria we have had mild weather (-2C to 5C with high winds) this past week. The rest of the Island has been pelted with the white stuff.
This was certainly a change from the week before while we were visiting Vancouver. I think a few photos speak volumes in this case. Here's what I've come up with from all around Vancouver from photos that I loved.
Beautiful shot of the North Shore there all decked out. Did you get a chance to see the Lions?
ReplyDeleteThat Victoria pic - is it from the shore just across from the Mile 0 post at Beacon Hill Park, looking West?
Oh what a great "Frosty"!!!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine the Island in winter, Jen, after being their in the fall. It would be a Wonderland!
ReplyDeleteI am up for making a snowman!
ReplyDeleteI just love that snowman :)
ReplyDeleteThe Stanley Park Views is lovely! I'm glad to see everything is going great in B.C. Have a safe and happy 2009!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen and Happy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteSeein all the snowy photos in your recent post makes me longing for the mountains where I'm sure to find snow. Norway let me down this year and gave me two weeks of rain during Christmas. And today Marseille (50km away) is snowcovered which is an historic event but in Toulon it's only raining. Clearly I'm geographically misplaced these lately :)
The view of Stanley Park is bereath taking! Enjoy the snow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteThey are really wondeful and show more than thousand words can explain
The Stanley Park Views! Incredible. And what a cute edible snowman.
