Photo Hunt - Nautical

This weeks Theme is Nautical

Since I don't operate any boats myself, I decided that Nautical to me meant, seeing ships or boats that could be operated. At least that is what I got out of the meaning of Nautical. The harbor here in Victoria is full of ships, I decided to post one of the more recent photos I took inside the harbor.

    Great harbour shot. Middle ground to the left: the Black Ball Ferry Line's MV Coho, sailing daily for the past 49 years between Victoria and Port Angeles. Distant background to the far right: what looks to be a Canadian Coast Guard ship.

    Me again popping over to answer your question. The sailboat shot was taken at Atlantic Beach, NC on the Atlantic Ocean. When I sailed one of the better places in NC to sail was out of Oriental, NC which is on the Neuse River near the Pamlico Sound and not that far from Atlantic Beach. My parents had a vacation house in Oriental and I sailed there as a kid. Bill and I used to sail there later.
