Hope everyone got to view some of the partial eclipse, or at least today's blue moon. I know the eclipse wasn't visible at all in North America. We took a shot of the moon a few days ago while there were still sunny skies.
Yes This is Winter in Victoria.
And a bit closer pic of the moon, with
Mt. Baker in the background.
And lastly, a bit of a laugh. Here's my year in review.

Happy New Year everyone!!!
It looks so calm and peaceful there. Beautiful sky too!
ReplyDeleteTo you and yours a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

Happy New Year! Nice to see a bit of Victoria again. I'm going to bed now. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.
Even from near Sumac going east up the Fraser Valley, where Mount Baker looms so large in front of you, I don't think I've ever seen it in such clarity. And you were in Victoria! Fabulous. I used to love skiing at Baker. The road would wind first through a thick forest, then climb up to the base station. The last mile or so, you'd usually be driving through a canyon of snow, at least 15 feet piled up on either side. It was always quiet and the people quite friendly. Haven't been there in two decades.
Happy New Year, ET! Best wishes of health and happiness to you and P. Did I read that correctly?? You're planning to move again??
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Jen!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, such a blue sky and that mountain in the distance! You live in a wonderful place!
Happy New Year!! Glad that you are enjoying a vacation.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and P! May your next move be smooth and uneventful.
ReplyDeleteGelukkig Nieuwjaar, dear Jen. A new year is a clean slate for us all. Let's go for it!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I started my trek in Victoria. I'm from Ottawa. I must say of all of Canada, Victoria is beautiful and arguably the best place to spend the winter, unless you ski every day and that's the rockies.
ReplyDeleteAll the best in 2010
This moon picture is plainly gorgeous - better than Photoshop!
ReplyDeleteI did see the blue moon - once ;-)
Lovely pics - how well you've captured the atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteLove your review - especially the seamless connection :-)
Ohhh yea; and happy new year to you and P!
