A Photo Tour

I was down taking a course in my old neighborhood over a week ago and decided to take a few photos while I was making my way around town. Here's a look how spring has been coming along here in Victoria.

Cherry Blossoms Bloom

Spring is coming!

A Beautiful window

One of the cute hotels off Quadra - Abagails

After the rain

Some of the cute heritage houses

A very cute store!

That's all for now. I have a few more I need to post but I've been dedicating most of my time to resume building and job searching lately.

  1. what a lovely blossom!

  2. lovely photos! those houses in are so amazing, all so unique, love it!

  3. I love all the lines and angles, ET, and the snowdrops AND cherry blossoms are so...promising!

  4. We are not at this stage yet, but the snow we had last week is melting fast. Who knows what's under...!

  5. Ahhh... I can smell the fresh spring air from here :-) I miss cherry blossoms!

  6. Really beautiful photos from Victoria.
And you have Springflowers when we are "drowning" in Snow.

  7. I came by to say thank you for your lovely comments on my blog (and on Zhu's!) Your blog is lovely, looking forward to read you. BTW, I wanted to be sure of something: you took those pictures of flowers and cherry blossoms NOW? I mean, this winter? Just so you know: here in Quebec we don't have anything green and live until mid-May!

  8. Hi neighbor! I am right over in Anacortes. I saw your comment at Yasmines' blog. We really are having an early spring and things are blooming way early. Have a great day.

  9. Spring is definitely in the air there! We had rain, sleet, and snow today! I can not believe how much it has snowed here in the south lately. Everything is so far behind with blooming. Hope things pick up soon for you with your job hunting!!!!
    Take Care!!

  10. Wooow, spring already and how well captured! In Oslo, Norway, we're still having fun in -10C and snow you know :-)

    Happy Weekend!

  11. Hi Jen,
Glad you stopped by OneGiantStep because it gave me a chance to come here and see your lovely photos of Victoria!! These are all from our old neighborhood of that where you are? Makes me look forward to coming home!

  12. Gillian - you are correct, yup that's Fairfield and very much into the start of spring!
