Still Patiently Waiting

So no baby yet and yes it's driving us a little nuts that baby wants to take it's time.  But we are hanging in there.  Really when you look at it all, there is a month window for the baby to arrive and the baby wants to wait the entire month window before arriving!  Or maybe baby just wants to be born as close to P's birthday as possible or the Super moon coming on that day..

All is well health wise for both baby and I.  I'm working on spicy foods and cooked up some spicy cookies yesterday that the entire family just loved!

Here's the recipe for anyone who wants to try them.  They are amazing tasting and I'm sure will be worth it even if you just take out the cayenne pepper that I couldn't even taste.  I think they are chewy version of molasses or gingerbread cookies.

  1. I feel for you!! My son was 15 days late, and I am *praying* this one isn't going to be late as well. That last 2 weeks with him was longer than the 40 prior! I hope your little one comes soon for you!

  4. The cookies sound yummy! I have heard of an Italian restaurant near here where every time a pregnant woman eats their lasagna she goes into labor! I went outside and started pulling weeds telling my daughter that her grandparents were driving two days to see her so she better hurry up! She came the next day...course I didn't know it was a girl as I didn't want to know. My dad was happy, he wanted a granddaughter! As a lot of old timer women say, a baby comes when it is ready to come. I'll check back soon!
Take Care to all of you,

  7. The thing is, Baby will come when it 's the exact right time...and then will forever have that natal "print" on its life. :) I love it (you know I do natal charts, of course).

  8. I love spicy food, so I’m definitely going to try this recipe out. I’m sorry you have to wait until you officially meat your baby, but all good things come when you least expect. Can’t wait for the baby pictures. Hang in there!
