A Day in the Life Of

Normally the weather isn't this wonderful, but here is a look at my early mornings and later nights from the past week. A start to the day. I look out and there is light. Brrr, it's cold out!

I've arrived a few minutes early for my bus, enjoy the beautiful colors and light as I get ready to go indoors. I could sit here for hours with views like this.

I take the Seabus and eventually arrive at the Science World stop. There are always wonderful views here.

The morning was pink yet foggy, full of great photo opps.

And Off the SeaBus, the day ends. Just beautiful.

This is the view from North Vancouver around Burrard Inlet. Vancouver is so beautiful when it's blue. We are nearing those days since the cooler weather brings snow and blue skies. And I guess when I get out, the views I have are incredible.

Weekend Photography

P and I headed out for a bit of photography taking over the weekend. What was really different about this outing was that P was taking photos too! I was shocked. But I love his enthusiasm and eye! He has even decided to post on flickr!

Here are a few of my shots from our weekend tour around North Vancouver.

It's time to Enjoy the Blue skies.

A Kayak passes by, and something you see much of the population doing.

Looking out from MapleWood Flats
The entire sanctuary is a great place to visit and bird watch on the weekends.

These were just a snapshot of photos from our Sunny Saturday around North Vancouver. You can of course see more of my photos on Flickr.

A Day in the Life

I've been working on posting more photos from my new point and shoot camera. So here is a bit of a tour of last Friday.

The day started off with me rushing out the door with views like this. Yes that is the ocean out there. How I love it when the sky is like that.

Like a painting.

I pass by this area a lot. I'm walking and photographing here. It's the site of Expo 1986. Today it's known for Vancouver's Science World.

The views are absolutely incredible on a sunny day, if you can escape the urban landscape. This area will be transformed for the Olympics.

The day ended just as it started back in North Vancouver. I love the views like this and am so lucky to have such picture perfect views. This is where I swim and of course the ocean views are in the background again.
